Group lesson on a rental boat

Our 3-hour group lesson is a hands-on, on-the-water training experience aboard a twin-engine rental boat in Miami, led by a USCG-licensed captain. Designed for a maximum of 3 participants, this lesson allows each person to get time at the helm while learning in a small, personalized group setting. Training takes place at the marina and on open water, giving participants real-world experience handling a twin-engine vessel in the same conditions they’ll encounter on rental or charter trips.

During the lesson, your captain will cover essential twin-engine skills, including throttle management, steering, and close-quarters maneuvering, along with docking and undocking, rules of the road, radio etiquette, navigation and electronics, chart plotting, and anchoring techniques. Each participant will gain hands-on practice and guidance, leaving the lesson with the confidence and knowledge needed to operate a twin-engine boat safely and efficiently in Miami’s waterways.
